1ST MEET UP WITH FOODGRAMER JOGJA AT MELCOSH CAFE

Special day, I had 1st meet up with some foodgrams in Jogja. Why we called it foodgram? Because we like to share about culinary around Jogja, to inform you about any food places here. Beside us, there are Hungerranger crew also joining this meet up. We had our 1st meeting in Melcosh Cafe, Jl. Kaliurang Km. 23. The place was so far far far away from the city, haha.
First time I knew this place from a Jogja's foodblogger (I forgot her name). From the pics, I think the place was so unique in the design. They used some membrane parasols for the roof. Then, they also serve a unique snack called 'jadah bakar' with any toping that you can choose.
So lucky, my friend Kiki made a recommendation about Melcosh to be our meeting place. But we were so dissapointed because many foods are sold out today (padahal masih jam 1 siang).
Some drinks and food that we were order :
- Coffee
Melcosh Cafe has some variant of coffee, from esspresso, latte and the others. Beside coffee, they also serve 'wedang uwuh', some tea beverages also 'wedang tape'. The price is quite cheap, start from IDR 10k - 18k.
Cappucinno (?) - IDR 18k
Latte Machiatto - IDR 16k
Hazelnut Something... - IDR 18k
For the foods, we ordering jadah bakar, then tape bakar, tempe mendoan and fried rice (not in pics). Jadah bakar made from grilled 'jadah' (made from glutinous rice) then spreading by any topings on top like chocolate, peanut or banana. Can we called it fusion food? XD Price start from IDR 6k - 9k. For another foods, this cafe also serve risoles (fried spring rolls), bakso (meatball) and pisang bakar (grilled banana). Price only around IDR 8k - 18k.

Good place, good ambiance but not for the food. Sorry for those opinion, cuma kecewa karena banyak makanan yang tidak tersedia saat itu dan alasannya macam-macam. Semoga kedepannya bisa lebih lengkap lagi menunya, padahal di buku menu makanannya juga tidak begitu banyak variasi. Kan sayang tempat bagus tapi sajian makanannya tidak memenuhi :D Sekian!
